Terms of service

These terms apply when you start a free trial of, or use, the Kryon missed-call text-back service. Using the service means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to.

We provide a phone line that forwards calls to a number you nominate. When a call goes unanswered, we send an automatic text message to the caller on your behalf and pass their reply on to you.

The service depends on mobile networks and on our telephony provider. We aim for messages to send within seconds, but we cannot guarantee delivery of any individual call or message, and we do not promise the service will be available without interruption.

New customers get 14 days of the full service at no cost. The trial starts on the day we activate your line.

We take your card details at signup so the service continues without a gap if you keep it. Nothing is charged during the 14 days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription then begins automatically and your first monthly payment is taken on day 15.

Stop it at any point during the trial by replying CANCEL to any message from us, and you will not be charged at all. One free trial per business.

After the free trial, the service is $50 per month in Australian dollars, charged monthly in advance from the day the trial ends. There is no setup fee and no minimum term.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

We will give you at least thirty days' notice before changing the price. Fair-use limits may apply to unusually high message volumes, and we will talk to you before doing anything about it.

Stop it at any time by replying CANCEL to any message from us. There is no phone call to make and no form to fill in. Cancel during the free trial and you are never charged; cancel afterwards and the service runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part-months. We can end the service with thirty days' notice, or immediately if it is being used unlawfully or to send unsolicited marketing.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Send marketing messages to people who have not contacted you
• Send anything unlawful, misleading or abusive
• Impersonate another business

Messages sent through your line go out in your business's name, and you are responsible for their content. Australian spam and telemarketing law applies to them.

The phone number we provide stays with us. If you cancel, we will do what we reasonably can to help you port it to another provider, subject to the rules that apply to number porting.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost work, lost profit or lost business opportunity.
