What are your unanswered calls costing you?

What this number is, and isn’t
A calculator that flatters you is worth nothing. Here is where this one is weakest.
- The missed-call count is usually guessed too low. The calls you remember missing are the ones that resolved themselves. The expensive ones leave no impression at all.
- Recovery rate is doing a lot of work. It is the difference between a believable number and a sales pitch. If you are unsure, halve whatever you first typed.
- Not every new caller is a job. Price shoppers, wrong numbers and people selling you advertising are all in that count, which is exactly why the recovery field exists.
- It ignores the repeat value. A recovered customer who comes back for years is worth far more than one job, and nothing here accounts for that. In that direction the number is too low.

Questions about the calculator
Where do the default numbers come from?
They are placeholders, not research. Every field is meant to be replaced with your own figures — the tool does arithmetic, it does not know anything about your business.
Is this an estimate or a measurement?
An estimate built entirely from your assumptions. The only way to measure it is to count your actual unanswered calls, which you can do yourself from your phone records or have us do for free.
Why is there a recovery rate field?
Because assuming you would win every missed caller is dishonest. Some were price-shopping, some were selling you something, and some had already booked elsewhere. The field exists so the number stays believable.
Do you store what I type in?
No. The whole thing runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no form to submit, and there is no email address to give.
Replace the guess with a count.
The free audit measures the one input this calculator makes you estimate. Seven days, no cost, nothing changes on your line.
